Who We Are and What We Do

Founded in the summer of 2012, Saving At Risk Animals is a rescue group located in Tucson, Arizona that works closely with Pima Animal Care Center to save sick, injured, or orphaned cats and kittens at risk of euthanasia.

Our cats are placed solely in foster homes — we have no central shelter — so all of our rescues get one-on-one medical care and socialization. Because our cats are in foster homes, we get to know their personalities well, so if you’re looking for a specific type of cat (lap cat, independent, etc.) let us know and we’ll find you a match!

Financial donations can be made through PayPal to rescuesara@earthlink.net or checks may be mailed to P.O. Box 17912, Tucson, AZ 85731 (payable to Saving At Risk Animals) or use the provided link in the “Your Donation to S.A.R.A.” section.

In addition, we expect to have our 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation status by the end of this calendar year.
